PERSONAL DATA
Privacy
This page explains what data is involved in your visit, in the free check, and in an audit request. When the client portal opens, it will be updated to cover accounts and code submission.
What we do not do
We run no analytics and no advertising tools, we load no content, fonts or scripts from third parties, and we do not track you. None of your information is sold, or passed to anyone else for their own use.
Cookies
The pages you read set no cookies at all. Two pages are the exception, and only when you submit a form: the audit request and the free check. There, a session cookie is set that exists solely to protect the form against forged submission and to keep your input if something is missing. It is strictly necessary, it does not recognise you on a later visit, and that is why no consent banner is needed.
The free check
We keep the site address you entered, the result of the check, and whether you said you sell from it. We do not store your IP address: to count how many checks came from the same place on the same day, we keep a one-way fingerprint of it that changes daily and cannot be turned back into an address. If you ask to see the remaining findings, we keep the email address you gave and the time you gave it, and we send you the findings once. Legal basis: your consent, given through the checkbox.
The audit request
If you fill in the request form, we keep what you entered: company name, tax number if you provide one, your name, email, phone, details of the application and your answers to the risk questions. We need them to reply and to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract if you proceed.
What the server logs
Like any website, the server keeps access logs with the IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser. They serve security and correct operation only. They are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
The free page scan and its findings are kept for 90 days. After that the site address, the findings, your email if you gave one and the fingerprint are erased: all that remains is that a scan happened that day, which says nothing about anyone. The row disappears entirely after 365 days. The free code sample follows the same rule with 30 and 180 days. An audit request stays for as long as the conversation and our relationship last; once withdrawn, it is removed permanently after 90 days. You do not have to ask: it happens automatically every night.
If you email us
If you contact us by email, we keep the message and your contact details for as long as we need them to reply and for our relationship, and then we delete them. Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where a contract exists, its performance.
Where the data lives
The website server is located in the European Union. We transfer no data outside the EU for the operation of this website.
