Terms of Service
The terms on which you buy an audit, a report or a pack from CodeAudited.
Who sells
CodeAudited is operated and sold by PR GANG LTD, company number 14160969, registered in England and Wales, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. All company details are on the «Company information» page.
What we sell
A software audit (of the code and, where requested, of the live application) against the standard we publish, a findings report and, when the audit passes, a private quality mark valid for 6 months. It is not a government, accredited or statutory certification and it does not replace any of your compliance obligations. The audit is sample-based and covers only the version of the code stated on the certificate: it does not prove the absence of defects.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros (EUR) and are shown on the pricing page and in the offer before you pay. All of them are one-off: there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. You pay by card through Stripe, or by bank transfer where the offer says so. Only Stripe sees your card details, not us. The audit starts once payment has been received.
PR GANG LTD is not registered for VAT; no VAT is charged. Pricing
What you pay for
You pay for the audit, not for the outcome: if the audit does not pass, that gives no right to a refund. The money-back guarantee described on the «Guarantee» page still applies, as do the rules on the «Refunds and cancellations» page.
Your code
The code and the report are confidential. How we read it, what we keep and when we delete it is set out in detail on the «Your code» page.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific audit, with no liability for consequential loss, except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and except where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, nor of the right to bring a claim before its courts.
